Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office visited WCF at SabaSaba
Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Jenista Mhagama, asked staff of Workers Compensation Fund (WCF) to get ready to start paying compensations to the eligible workers as instructed by the governing law.
Minister Mhagama said so today 2nd July 2016 when she paid a visit at SabaSaba Expo and specifically visited WCF stall where WCF staff were giving education to their esteemed clients, workers.
“I know you are to start paying compensation this month of July, are you ready? if not then align yourself to start paying the compensations” she said.
When replying the Minister; Public Relation Official from WCF, Fulgence Sebera told the Minister that WCF is aligned and ready to deliver their promise where education and awareness has been provided to most of the stakeholders including doctors all over the country who will be responsible to analyse those workers who got accidents and are eligible for compensation.
Mr. Sebera also encourage workers and employers to visit WCF stall at SabaSaba to get education about services that are provided by WCF.
Minister Mhagama was also accompanied by officials from Social Security Regulator Authority (SSRA) lead by the Head of Public Relation and Communication of SSRA, Sarah Kibonde.
